Capital Punishment

Hibs Dev 2-3 Kilmarnock

It was a top of the table clash in the SWFL division 1 with the visitors coming away from the capital with 3 points.
The game was played at a frantic pace, and the young hibee's took the lead in the opening five minutes. However Killie responded immediately through Colette Fleming in her first start for the club, following a smashing run and cutback from Munro down the right hand side.
Kirsty McLaughlin then put Killie into the lead, midway through the half slotting past the keeper off the back of a corner kick.
HT 1-2 Kilmarnock
A change of shape for hibs to start the second half, had Killie on the backfoot and under the cosh. A dubious penalty decision drew hibs level ,the striker blasting high past Hunter in the Killie goal.
2-2 and it was game on, edge of the seat stuff with both sides wanting the 3 points.
Kilmarnock got the winner 15 mins from time, and it was Fleming again, who calmly put the ball past an outstretched keeper to seal the win for the visitors.
A brilliant 3 points to consolidate Killies top spot. A huge well done to Stewart and the girls.
